Voice Limit Reached

Voice blocked in Chat usually means the Plus monthly voice quota is spent, or the 60-minute per-session cap ran out. Phone calls draw on the same quota. Check the Usage page for where you stand.

Work out which limit you hit#

What you saw Which limit
Voice won't start at all, and the meter reads full The monthly quota on Plus is spent
The session ended after about an hour, with Time's up The per-session cap
The workspace redirected you to billing before you got to Chat There's no active subscription

Plus includes 2 hours of voice per billing period. Pro is unlimited. Phone calls and browser voice draw on the same pool, so a long call eats into the time you have left in Chat.

Separately, one session runs about 55 minutes and stops at 60. A countdown appears in the voice bar as M:SS left once 10 minutes or less remain. Hitting that cap is not the same as running out of monthly time, and starting a fresh session clears it.

Check where you stand#

  1. Open the avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click Usage.
  3. Read the Voice meter under This billing period.

Understand the Usage page explains the other meters on that page. Understand voice usage and resets covers when the quota refills.

Get more voice time#

Upgrading to Pro removes the monthly quota. The per-session cap applies on both plans. Open Billing from the avatar menu, or see Manage your billing plan.

If it's a phone call that won't connect#

A blocked call can be the quota, but it's more often the PIN or the verified number. See Fix phone voice call problems.
