Why Sync Contacts Is Unavailable During Setup

The Sync Contacts button is grayed out because dreamif.ai is still reading through your email history. Wait for it to finish, then try again.

What to do#

  1. Wait. Email processing takes a few minutes for small accounts, longer for large ones.
  2. Refresh the People page after a few minutes.
  3. Try clicking Sync Contacts again once the button is active.

Do not keep refreshing or retrying#

The button unlocks automatically when email processing finishes. Refreshing the page does not speed it up.

If it stays blocked for a long time#

Check Settings > Integrations to make sure your Google connection is healthy. If Gmail shows a warning, fix the connection first — email processing cannot continue without Gmail access.
