What Happens After You Connect Your Account
After you connect, dreamif.ai reads through your email history in the background. You can use the product right away — features just get better as it finishes.
What dreamif.ai is doing#
- Reading your email history — this always happens. dreamif.ai learns about your contacts, your writing style, and your communication patterns.
- Reading calendar history — only if you connected Google Calendar.
- Preparing search and drafting — so when you ask dreamif.ai to find an email or draft a reply, it has context to work with.
Contact sync is separate. dreamif.ai does not automatically import your Google Contacts. You start that yourself from the People page when you are ready. See Sync contacts from Google.
How long it takes#
Depends on how much email you have. A lightly used account finishes in minutes. An account with years of email takes longer. You do not need to wait — use the product while it runs.
If it seems stuck#
Check these first:
- Missing permissions — go to Settings > Integrations and check your access badges.
- Incomplete setup — Calendar or Drive may be connected but not configured yet.
- Still running — large accounts take time. If the progress indicators are still updating, give it more time.
If nothing has changed for a long time and the Integration Health dashboard still shows warnings, the issue is likely a permission or configuration problem, not the email processing itself.
