Complete onboarding

After you sign in, there are a few things to set up before dreamif.ai can start working for you. Here is the checklist.

The setup checklist#

1. Connect Gmail#

dreamif.ai needs Gmail access to read your emails, draft replies, and manage labels. If you skipped it, go to Settings > Integrations and connect Gmail again.

2. Connect Google Calendar#

So dreamif.ai can check your availability and schedule meetings. See Connect Google Calendar.

3. Connect Google Drive#

So dreamif.ai can search your documents and attach files to drafts. See Connect Google Drive.

4. Set up your signature#

Choose whether dreamif.ai uses your Gmail signature, a custom one, or none. See Set up your signature.

5. Set your default city#

Tell dreamif.ai where you work so it references the right market in emails. Go to Settings > Integrations (Email tab) and set your location.

6. Wait for email processing to finish#

After you connect, dreamif.ai reads through your email history in the background. This takes a few minutes for small accounts and longer for large ones. You can use the product while it runs. Some features get better as it finishes. See What happens after you connect.

How to know you are done#

Check the Dashboard page. Your setup is complete when Gmail, Calendar, and Drive all show as connected and set up, with no warnings.

Came back to finish an incomplete setup?#

If you left onboarding partway through, go to Settings > Integrations to see what still needs attention. The most common things left:

  • Calendar needs selected calendars. Go to Settings > Integrations (Calendar tab).
  • Drive needs a folder selection. Go to Settings > Integrations (Drive tab).
  • A permission was skipped. Reconnect that service from Settings > Integrations.
