Understand your Google access status
Google connection status lives on Settings > Integrations > Google. The Google Workspace card covers the account link, and the Google access card gives Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Contacts a status each.
Where to find it#
Go to Settings > Integrations > Google. /settings on its own lands on the Integrations page, and Google is the first tab.
Status used to sit on the dashboard. It does not anymore. The dashboard only raises a banner or an alert when something is actively broken.
The "Google Workspace" card#
The top card is about the account link as a whole. It shows the Google address dreamif.ai is signed in with, plus a pill:
- Connected
- Signed in
- Not connected
- Access removed
Signed in is worth reading carefully. It means dreamif.ai knows who you are but holds no product access yet, which is what you see right after sign-in and before the onboarding Google step. See Which Google account dreamif.ai is using.
The card also carries Disconnect, which removes every Google integration at once. After a disconnect the card reads "Google access removed. You're still signed in." and its only action is Connect Gmail. See Remove Google access from dreamif.ai.
The "Google access" card#
Below it, the Google access card breaks the connection into four tiles, one per service: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts. Each tile shows a status and a single button.
Services are independent. Gmail can be fully working while Calendar sits at Not configured. Work the tiles one at a time rather than reconnecting everything.
The statuses a tile can show are Connected, Not configured, Not connected, Disabled, Reconnect required, and Action required. For what each one means and how to clear it, see Understand Google Connection Statuses.
What the tile buttons do#

A tile showing Configure is never a Google problem. When its status also reads Not configured or Disabled, dreamif.ai is waiting on you: Calendar needs Calendar automation turned on, Drive needs Drive automation and a search scope.
The dashboard reconnect banner#
Gmail is the one service that also shouts from the dashboard, because drafting stops without it. The banner reads "Reconnect Gmail to resume drafting". Not now hides it for 30 days, which does not fix anything, so come back to the Google tab when you have a minute. See Use The Dashboard.
