Choose your first workflow in onboarding

The first onboarding step asks what you want help with first. That single answer decides which setup step and which first result you get, and the choices you do not pick become secondary workflows you can add later.

What the first step asks#

The step is titled Tell us a bit about yourself and it collects three things:

  1. Your role. Picking a real-estate role is what unlocks buyer and seller features later, including the sixth workflow choice below and the Property tab in AI preferences.
  2. What would you like help with first? Pick one. This is your first workflow.
  3. What else… Pick as many as you like. These become secondary workflows.

The six choices#

  • Draft email replies. dreamif.ai watches your inbox and writes reply drafts into Gmail for you to approve.
  • Track follow-ups. dreamif.ai suggests who to follow up with and drafts the message. This is the Nurture feature; onboarding calls it follow-ups.
  • Label incoming email. New mail gets sorted into workflow labels as it arrives.
  • Delegate work to an assistant. You work in Chat and ask for things directly.
  • Work through email by voice. You handle email by talking, on the phone or in the browser.
  • Find buyer and seller leads. Only offered when your role is a real-estate one. Adds buyer searches and seller property work on top of follow-ups.

How your choice shapes steps 5 and 6#

Step 5 configures the workflow. Step 6 runs it once so you see a real result before onboarding ends.

Your first workflow Step 5 Step 6
Draft email replies "Dreamifai writes drafts for you" "Draft a reply to a real email", finishing on "Your draft is in Gmail"
Track follow-ups "Set follow-up behavior" "Turn on follow-up suggestions", finishing on "Follow-ups are on"
Label incoming email "Choose how new mail gets labeled" (Standard, Existing Gmail, or Custom) "Preview labels on incoming mail", finishing on "Labels are ready"
Delegate work to an assistant No step 5 "Ask Dreamifai something", with Starters you can pick from
Work through email by voice "Set up phone access" "Place your first phone call", finishing on "Phone call ready"
Find buyer and seller leads "Set buyer and seller follow-up behavior" "Turn on buyer and seller follow-ups"

Every workflow needs an active subscription before it runs, and Existing Gmail and Custom labels also need Pro. You can still complete the setup before you pay. dreamif.ai saves it and finishes the job after you subscribe.

Which one to pick#

Pick the thing you would notice on day one:

  • Your inbox is the bottleneck, and you rewrite the same replies daily. Pick Draft email replies.
  • Leads go cold because nobody chases them. Pick Track follow-ups.
  • You can find nothing in your inbox. Pick Label incoming email.
  • You would rather ask than click. Pick Delegate work to an assistant.
  • You spend your day driving between showings. Pick Work through email by voice.

The choice is not permanent. It sets the order you set things up in; everything else stays available.

What happens to the choices you did not pick#

Everything you selected under What else… becomes a secondary workflow. Those do not run during onboarding. They wait for you in two places:

  • The Finish setting up strip on the dashboard, which opens each one as a modal.
  • Settings > AI preferences > General, in the Features list, where each workflow has a Revisit button.

See Finish or revisit onboarding setup.
