Why a voice send did not go through
Sending by voice needs no permission beyond the Gmail access dreamif.ai already has. A send that didn't land is almost always an unconfirmed staged action, a Gmail connection that needs attention, or a plan limit.
There is no separate send permission#
dreamif.ai asks for one Gmail scope that covers reading, drafting, labeling, and sending together. If it can open and edit your drafts, it can send them. Older instructions that told you to reconnect Gmail and grant send access no longer apply, and there's no extra grant to hunt for.
Work through these in order#
1. You never said "confirm"#
Asking for a send stages it. Nothing leaves your account until you say "confirm", type confirm, or press Send in the draft panel. dreamif.ai says so when it stages one: "Reply confirm to apply it, or cancel to stop."
If you answered with something else, or the call ended first, the send is still sitting there unsent. Say "send that draft" again and confirm this time. See How voice confirmations work.
2. The staged send lapsed#
A staged send that waits too long expires, and asking for a different edit to the same draft replaces the one that was queued. If you then try to confirm, dreamif.ai answers "That staged action expired. Stage it again before continuing." Ask for the send again. Why a draft was blocked before sending covers the details.
3. Gmail needs reconnecting#
Go to Settings > Integrations > Google and read the Gmail tile on the Google access card. Reconnect required or Action required means dreamif.ai can't write to Gmail at the moment. Click the button on the tile and sign back in with Google.

4. You ran out of voice time or hit the daily message cap#
Voice stopping mid-request looks like a failed send. Two limits do that:
- Voice time. Plus includes 2 hours per billing period, and phone calls draw on the same pool. See Voice limit reached.
- Daily assistant messages. Chat shows "Daily assistant limit reached. It resets at midnight UTC." See Daily assistant limit reached.
Check whether it sent after all#
Open the thread in Gmail. A sent message sits in Sent, and a draft that never went out is still in Drafts with your edits intact. dreamif.ai also confirms in the transcript after a successful send, so scroll back through the chat bubbles from the session.
