Why Gmail shows Not configured or Action required
The Gmail tile can show two different statuses even though Google access is connected: Not configured, or Action required with Watch renewal failed. Here is what each means and how to fix it.
Gmail shows "Not configured"#
dreamif.ai has Gmail access, but the mailbox watch that lets it see new mail hasn't started yet.
This usually clears on its own within a few minutes of connecting Gmail. If it has been longer than that:
- Go to Settings > Integrations and open the Google tab.
- Find the Gmail tile and click Configure.
- If it still shows "Not configured", reconnect Gmail: click the Gmail tile's connect button and grant access again.
Gmail shows "Action required"#
This appears with the note "Watch renewal failed": the mailbox watch that was working stopped renewing. See Why Gmail connection renewal failed for the fix.
If neither fixes it#
Email support@dreamif.ai with your account email and whether the status is "Not configured" or "Action required".
