Why Mirrored Or Custom Labels Are Unavailable

Existing Gmail labels require Pro. Custom labels require Pro. If the option is grayed out, check your plan first.

Saving any label configuration, including Standard, needs an active subscription. If you're not subscribed at all, saving returns "Active subscription required."

How to fix it#

  1. Open the avatar menu and choose Billing to check your current plan.
  2. Upgrade if needed.
  3. Return to Settings > Integrations, then open the Labels tab. The source should now be available.

If you are on the right plan and it is still locked#

  • Check that Gmail is connected (Settings > Integrations).
  • Make sure Auto-label incoming email is turned on (Settings > Integrations, Labels tab).
  • If you hit the custom label limit (50 active labels), turn off or delete one first.
