Create A Custom Label
Custom labels let you teach dreamif.ai your own inbox categories, like 'Hot Lead' or 'Showing Request', so it labels emails the way you think about them.
Steps#
- Go to Settings > Integrations, then open the Labels tab.
- Click the + button to add a new custom label.
- Enter a label name (e.g., "Showing Request").
- Choose the label role:
- Main label: the primary category for an email. Use this for your core inbox buckets (e.g., "Hot Lead," "Transaction Update," "Personal").
- Extra label: additional context on top of a main label. Use this for secondary tags (e.g., "Urgent," "Needs Follow-Up").
- Add instructions that tell dreamif.ai when to apply this label. Be specific: "Apply to emails where someone is asking to schedule or reschedule a property showing."
- Save.
Write good instructions#
The more specific your instructions, the better dreamif.ai labels. Compare:
- Vague: "Important emails". dreamif.ai does not know what "important" means to you.
- Specific: "Apply to emails from clients who mention an offer, counteroffer, or asking price". dreamif.ai knows exactly what to look for.
Limits#
You can have up to 50 active custom labels. If you hit the limit, turn off or delete one before adding another.
