Mirror Your Gmail Labels Into dreamif.ai

Already organize your inbox with Gmail labels? Sync them into dreamif.ai so you keep using the same labels instead of starting over.

Before you start#

The Existing Gmail source is a Pro feature and requires Gmail access. If you're not on Pro, selecting it opens a panel: "Existing Gmail is a Pro feature" with "Mirror the Gmail labels you already use so they keep getting applied automatically. Your Standard workflow labels stay free." and an Upgrade to Pro button. Trying to sync without Pro returns "Gmail sync requires a Pro plan."

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations, then open the Labels tab.
  2. Select the Existing Gmail source card.
  3. Start the sync. dreamif.ai shows "Syncing Gmail labels" while it pulls your Gmail label structure.
  4. When it finishes, you'll see "Sync complete. N labels mirrored." (or "Gmail labels synced" if no count is available).

If something goes wrong mid-sync, you'll see "Sync failed" instead.

If sync fails#

  • Check that Gmail is connected on Settings > Integrations.
  • Check that your plan includes label syncing (Pro).
  • Run the sync again.

If Existing Gmail itself is locked rather than just failing to sync, that's a plan limitation, not a sync error. See Why mirrored or custom labels are unavailable.
