Daily assistant limit reached
Chat counts the messages you send each day: 200 on Plus, 500 on Pro. The count resets at midnight UTC and is separate from voice minutes.
What you see#
Chat shows the error "Daily assistant limit reached. It resets at midnight UTC." Your message is not sent, and the thread stays exactly as it was.
The limits#

The 25-message allowance applies before a subscription is active, which in practice means the assistant steps in onboarding. Once you subscribe, your plan's cap applies from that day forward.
What counts#
Each message you send in Chat counts as one. A single reply that runs several tool steps still counts as one message, and the step count shown on the tool summary card has nothing to do with this limit.
Voice minutes are metered separately. Talking to dreamif.ai does not spend your daily messages, and typing does not spend voice minutes. If voice is the thing that stopped, see Voice Limit Reached.
When it resets#
At midnight UTC, not midnight where you are. On North American Eastern time, that lands at 7pm or 8pm the previous evening, depending on daylight saving. Nothing you do speeds it up, and there is no way to buy extra messages for the day.
What to do now#
- Wait for the reset if you can. The counter clears on its own.
- Upgrade to Pro for 500 a day if you hit 200 regularly. Open Billing from the avatar menu, or see Manage your billing plan.

Other daily caps#
Two more counters reset on the same midnight UTC schedule:
- Draft rewrites: 10 without a subscription, 50 on Plus, 150 on Pro.
- Nurture draft generations: 10 without a subscription, 50 on Plus, 150 on Pro.
