Use Chat

Chat is the main place to talk to dreamif.ai. Start a thread, ask for drafts and follow-ups, and switch to voice or a phone call without leaving the page.

Start a chat#

  1. Click Chat in the sidebar.
  2. Click New at the top of the chat pane.
  3. Type your request in the composer, which reads "Reply to dreamif.ai", and press Enter.

Enter sends the message. Shift+Enter adds a line break without sending.

Chat needs an active subscription. Without one you are sent to the billing page instead. See What you can do without a subscription.

What to ask for#

Use Chat for tasks like:

  • Draft a reply based on an email thread.
  • Update a draft (subject, recipients, body, attachments).
  • Find a contact and review notes.
  • Nurture help, such as why a contact is paused or how to reschedule a touchpoint.
  • Calendar help, such as availability checks, holds, and event updates.

Each message you send counts against a daily cap that resets at midnight UTC. See Daily assistant limit reached.

How Chat stays safe#

dreamif.ai does not send email silently. A draft goes out when you click Send in the draft editor. If you ask for a send or a change in a message instead, Chat stages the action and applies it only after you reply confirm. See Understand chat confirmations.

Use voice inside Chat#

Voice runs inside Chat rather than on a page of its own.

  1. Open Chat.
  2. Click the microphone button in the composer.
  3. If prompted, allow microphone access.

While voice is active, Chat shows a status such as Listening, Working, or Speaking. See Use voice controls in Chat.

Talk to dreamif.ai by phone#

Once phone voice access is set up, a Call by phone button replaces Send while the composer is empty. It dials from your phone or calls you back on your verified number. See Call dreamif.ai by phone.

Sometimes Chat needs you to pick an option before it can continue. Use the option buttons or reply with the option number.
Use Voice Controls In Chat
Start voice from the Chat composer, read the status labels, mute or stop the session, and watch the countdown near the session limit.
Start a voice session
Voice runs inside Chat. Click the microphone button in the composer, wait for the status to read Listening, and speak. Mute, Stop, and the session countdown sit in the same bar.
Call dreamif.ai by phone
Once your number is verified, use the Call by phone button in Chat or dial the assistant directly. You get the same assistant and the same tools as browser voice, with the transcript waiting in Chat afterward.
Daily assistant limit reached
Chat counts the messages you send each day: 200 on Plus, 500 on Pro. The count resets at midnight UTC and is separate from voice minutes.
What you can do without a subscription
Without an active subscription, only onboarding, settings, and security open. Everything else redirects to the billing page, and setup you save is held until you subscribe.
