Edit And Send Drafts By Voice
Open a draft by asking dreamif.ai to list or read your drafts, make changes by describing what you want, then say "confirm" to apply an edit or to send.
Open a draft#
Say something like:
- "List my drafts": shows what is waiting.
- "Read me the first draft": opens the first one.
- "Open the draft for Sarah": opens the draft for a specific contact.
Edit the draft#
Describe the change you want in plain language:
- "Make it shorter"
- "Add a line about the open house on Saturday"
- "Change the tone to more casual"
- "Rewrite the first paragraph"
dreamif.ai reads back the change it's about to make and holds it. Say "confirm" and it rewrites the draft. Rewrites are staged like sends are, so a misheard sentence never lands on text you wanted to keep. Make as many edits as you need before sending.
Send the draft#
Say "Send this draft," then say "confirm" when dreamif.ai reads the send back to you. Pressing Send in the draft panel confirms it too, if you happen to be at the screen. There's no pop-up dialog either way.
Say "cancel" instead and the draft stays in Gmail, untouched. See How voice confirmations work.
If the send didn't go through#
Sending by voice needs no permission beyond the Gmail access dreamif.ai already has. When a send doesn't land, the cause is usually an unconfirmed staged action, a Gmail connection that needs reconnecting, or a plan limit. See Why a voice send did not go through.
