Fix Microphone Access

If dreamif.ai cannot hear you, it is usually a browser permission issue. Here is how to check and fix it.

1. Check browser permission#

Your browser needs to allow microphone access for the dreamif.ai site. If you see a blocked-microphone icon in the address bar, click it, allow access, and reload the page.

If Chat shows a message like "Microphone access is unavailable", make sure you are using a regular browser tab (not incognito or a restricted mode).

2. Check your microphone#

If the browser has permission but dreamif.ai still cannot hear you:

  • Make sure your microphone is plugged in and selected as the input device in your system settings.
  • On Safari, you may also need to allow microphone access in Safari > Settings > Websites > Microphone, then refresh the page.

3. Retry#

  1. Go to Chat.
  2. Click the microphone button in the message bar.
  3. Say something short to test.

Still not working?#

  • Refresh the browser.
  • Close and reopen the tab.
  • Try a different browser (Chrome and Edge work best).
