Understand Voice Usage And Resets
Voice usage is measured by time spent in voice sessions. Plus has a monthly limit that resets on your billing cycle. Pro is unlimited.
What counts toward voice usage#
Voice usage increases while a voice session is running in Chat.
In practice, this includes time while the assistant is listening, thinking, or speaking.
If you stop voice, the usage meter stops.
When voice usage resets#
If you are on Plus, your voice balance resets on your billing cycle.
On the Usage page, the voice card includes a reset line that shows the next reset date and time.
Why voice might stop during a long session#
Even on Pro, voice sessions have a maximum length.
If voice ends during a long session, start a new voice session to continue.
