Understand Billing Notices In The Sidebar
If your plan is scheduled to end or a payment is past due, dreamif.ai shows a billing notice in the sidebar and on the Billing page, each with a single button that fixes it.
Notice: Subscription scheduled to end#
You will see a notice like:
Your Plus subscription will end on <date>Your Pro subscription is scheduled to end
This means you canceled and your plan will end at the end of the current billing period. You still have access until that date.
Button you will see: Keep subscription
Click it to open Billing, then use the Stripe portal to reverse the cancellation.
Notice: Latest payment did not go through (past due)#
You will see a notice like:
Your latest payment for Plus did not go throughYour latest payment for Pro did not go through
This means Stripe is retrying the invoice. Your paid access can stay active during retries, but you should fix your payment method to avoid losing paid access.
Button you will see: Update payment method
Click it to open Billing, then update your card or payment method in the Stripe portal.
If you see both#
If your plan is scheduled to end and also past due, dreamif.ai prioritizes the cancellation notice and shows Keep subscription as the button.
Notice: Billing is scheduled to change (Billing page)#
On the Billing page, you might see an amber notice like:
Your plan will change to Pro on <date>Your billing will change on <date>
This means a plan, cadence, or currency change is queued for the end of the current billing period.
Button you might see: Keep current billing for a cadence or currency change, or Keep Plus / Keep Pro when the queued change is a tier change. A scheduled downgrade from Pro to Plus shows Keep Pro.
What you see right after checkout#
Checkout returns you to the Billing page with ?checkout=success or ?checkout=canceled in the URL. dreamif.ai reads it, shows a toast, then strips it from the address bar:
- Success, while Stripe is still confirming: "Checkout complete" with "Your subscription is being finalized. This page will update automatically while Stripe webhook sync completes."
- Canceled: "Checkout canceled" with "You can restart checkout whenever you are ready."
If you started checkout from onboarding, you land back in onboarding at the completion step instead. See Checkout complete but access has not updated yet if the page keeps showing the old plan.
