Fix A Failed Billing Payment
If a billing payment fails, update your payment method as soon as possible. Stripe retries automatically, but a bad card will keep failing.
Common causes#
- The payment method is expired.
- The payment method was declined by your bank.
- The payment method is missing or no longer valid.
Steps#
- Open the account menu and choose Billing.
- Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe portal.
- Update your payment method.
- Return to dreamif.ai and confirm your subscription is active again.
What to expect after the fix#
dreamif.ai may need a short moment to reflect the updated billing status after Stripe processes the new payment. Your paid access stays active while Stripe is still retrying.
If the problem keeps happening#
If the same payment method keeps failing, try a different card or payment method that Stripe accepts.
