Why A Plan Change May Take A Moment To Appear
Just completed checkout but your plan still looks the same? Reload the page and give it a minute. dreamif.ai is waiting for Stripe to confirm the change.
What you might see#
For a few seconds after checkout or a billing change, you may notice:
- The old plan name still showing.
- A feature still looking locked.
- The billing page not reflecting the new details yet.
- The toast "Checkout complete" with "Your subscription is being finalized. This page will update automatically while Stripe webhook sync completes."
If you subscribed during onboarding, the completion step shows a button reading "Activating plan..." and the line "Access is still updating." while it waits.
This is normal. It does not mean checkout failed.
What to do#
- Stay on the page. It polls for the confirmation on its own every few seconds for about a minute.
- If you navigated away, reload the billing page.
- Check again after a minute.
Do not start a second checkout. Your payment already went through.
Why the workspace can still be locked#
Dashboard, People, Nurture, and Chat need an active subscription, so they keep redirecting to the billing page until Stripe confirms. Settings and security stay open the whole time.
If it has been more than a couple of minutes#
Something may need attention. See Checkout complete but access has not updated yet for detailed troubleshooting.
