Simple Vs Custom Nurture Cadence

Simple lets dreamif.ai decide when to follow up. Custom lets you set different timing for contacts you spoke to recently vs. contacts you have not heard from in months.

Simple#

Choose Simple when you want dreamif.ai to handle scheduling for you. You do not need to think about timing. dreamif.ai picks the cadence based on its own rules.

This is the best starting point if you are new to nurture or do not have strong opinions about follow-up frequency.

Custom#

Choose Custom when you want to control the timing yourself. Custom mode groups your contacts into segments based on how recently you interacted with them, and you set the follow-up frequency for each group.

For example, you might want:

  • Contacts you talked to this week: follow up every 10 days.
  • Contacts you have not heard from in 3 months: follow up once a month.
  • Contacts you have not heard from in over a year: no automatic follow-ups.

You can enable or disable each segment independently, so nurture only runs for the groups you care about.

How to switch#

  1. Go to Settings > AI Preferences.
  2. Open the Nurture tab.
  3. Switch to the Cadence panel.
  4. Change the mode between Simple and Custom.
  5. If using Custom, configure the segment timing.
  6. Save your changes.

You can switch back and forth at any time. Start with Simple and move to Custom when you want more control.
