Bulk Change Nurture Status For Contacts
Select multiple contacts on the People page to turn on nurture, pause, or disable for all of them at once — useful when you are onboarding a batch or going on vacation.
Steps#
- Go to the People page.
- If you want to act on a specific group, use Filter first.
- Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to change.
- A bulk menu appears at the top showing how many contacts are selected.
- Choose one of the actions:
- Turn on auto-nurture — dreamif.ai starts writing and scheduling follow-ups for these contacts.
- Pause until activity — follow-ups pause and automatically resume when the contact re-engages (e.g., they reply to an email or you add a note to their record).
- Disable auto-nurture — permanently stops nurture for these contacts. Scheduled touchpoints are removed.
If a contact is "Off"#
Some contacts show Off in the Nurturing column. These contacts may not be eligible for bulk changes.
To turn nurture on for an Off contact, open their detail sheet and change their nurture status there.
Be careful with "Disable"#
Disabling in bulk is hard to undo. There is no "undo" button — you would need to re-enable each contact individually or do another bulk "Turn on" action. If you are unsure, use "Pause" instead.
After the bulk action#
Check the Nurturing column on the People page to confirm the status updated. Open a few contacts' detail sheets to double-check if you want to be sure.

Pause Vs Disable Nurture For A Contact
Paused stops follow-ups temporarily — you can resume anytime. Disabled permanently stops nurture and removes scheduled touchpoints. When in doubt, pause.

Find a specific contact by name or email, or use filters to see groups like 'everyone I have paused' or 'people I have not talked to in 3 months.'
