Configure Nurture Settings
Control who nurture targets, how often dreamif.ai follows up, and what nurture emails sound like from Nurture Settings in AI preferences.
Targeting panel#
This is where you decide who nurture should target.
- Nurture automation: the main on/off switch. Turn this off and dreamif.ai stops scheduling new touchpoints.
- Autopilot targeting: free-text guidance describing who automated nurture should target and how selective it should be before scheduling touchpoints.
- Volume & gating: sets the minimum number of past interactions a contact needs before automated nurture is allowed to run.
Cadence panel#
This is where you control follow-up timing.
- Follow-up timing preferences: guidance for timing phrases dreamif.ai finds in emails or notes (for example, "let's touch base next week"). When a clear follow-up time is mentioned, dreamif.ai uses that first.
- Default follow-up timing: used when nothing in the email or note gives a clear follow-up time. Choose Recommended or Custom timing. See Recommended vs custom follow-up timing for how each works.
- Delivery window: the local hours, in your account time zone, during which dreamif.ai generates nurture drafts. If contacts are complaining about late-night emails, narrow this to business hours.
Writing panel#
This is where you shape nurture email tone.
- Nurture email style: guidance that applies only to nurture emails, separate from your reply-drafting style.
Property tab#
If you work real estate, nurture can also draft around buyer searches and seller listings. That lives on the separate Property tab in AI preferences, with its own Buyer and Seller sub-tabs. See Set property content for buyer and seller follow-ups.
After you save#
Changes apply to future touchpoints only. Drafts and scheduled sends that already exist keep their original timing. If you want to adjust those too, use delay, skip, or reschedule on individual touchpoints.
If a contact is not eligible yet#
If a contact shows as not currently nurturing, check Volume & gating in the Targeting panel. Lowering the minimum interaction threshold can make more contacts eligible for automatic follow-ups.
If you're not subscribed yet#
You can still open Nurture Settings and change everything without a subscription. Saving shows "Nurture saved for later" and "Your settings were saved, but this workspace cannot run nurture yet." Nothing schedules until you subscribe; see what happens to work you saved before subscribing.
