Active Vs Excluded Buyer Searches

When a buyer says 'no condos' or 'nothing in that area,' use an Exclude search to filter those properties out of their follow-up emails.

Suggest listings (the default)#

When a search is set to Suggest listings, dreamif.ai uses its criteria to find matching properties and include them in nurture emails. This is the default for every new search.

Exclude listings#

When a search is set to Exclude listings, dreamif.ai removes matching properties from the buyer's follow-up emails. Think of it as a "do not show me" filter.

Use this when a buyer has specific deal-breakers: "no condos," "nothing in Brampton," "not above $1.2M." You can also add an optional Exclude reason (e.g., "client was clear — no basement units") so you remember why you set it up.

Excluded searches show an Exclude badge on the search card.

How to switch between the two#

  1. Open the contact's Nurture tab.
  2. Click the pencil icon on the search.
  3. Change the Mode dropdown to Suggest listings or Exclude listings.
  4. Click Save changes.

When you would switch an existing search to Exclude#

Maybe the buyer originally wanted condos, but now they have decided they only want detached homes. Instead of deleting the condo search, switch it to Exclude so those listings stop appearing in their emails.
