AI Defaults Vs Manual Override For Seller Property
AI defaults lock the property fields and let dreamif.ai fill them in. Manual override unlocks the fields so you can correct anything that is wrong.
AI defaults#
When Details source is set to Use AI defaults, dreamif.ai fills in beds, baths, sqft, and property type based on what it knows about the listing. The fields are grayed out, so you cannot edit them.
Use AI defaults when:
- You just entered the address and the details dreamif.ai filled in look correct.
- You want a faster setup and do not need to fine-tune.
Manual override#
When Details source is set to Manual override, all fields unlock and you can enter whatever you want.
Switch to manual when:
- dreamif.ai got the beds, baths, sqft, or type wrong.
- You are adding a brand-new listing that dreamif.ai has not seen yet.
- Accurate details matter for comparable-property summaries (which use beds, baths, and sqft to find comps).
How to switch#
- Open the contact's Nurture tab.
- Find the Seller property section.
- Change the Details source dropdown.
- If switching to manual, fill in the correct values.
- Save.
Not the same as the global Autofill setting#
This Details source dropdown is per contact. There's a separate, global setting in AI preferences > Property > Seller > Save property details, with an Autofill control set to Off, Conservative, or Auto. That setting controls whether dreamif.ai saves seller property details it finds in emails and notes in the first place, for every seller contact. Details source only decides where one contact's already-saved details come from. See Set property content for buyer and seller follow-ups.
