Delay, Skip, Or Reschedule A Touchpoint

Sometimes the timing is wrong, or the draft is not right. Here is how to push a touchpoint back, move it to a specific date, draft it early, or throw it away and let dreamif.ai write a new one.

Where to find the options#

Click the three-dot menu on any touchpoint row in the Draft Ready or Scheduled tab.

Delay: push it back a few days#

Choose Delay and pick +1 day, +3 days, +7 days, or Custom… (enter any number of days).

Use delay when the email is fine but the timing is not. For example: you ran into the contact at an open house yesterday, so sending a nurture email tomorrow would feel redundant. Push it back a week instead.

Important: Delaying deletes the current Gmail draft and creates a new one at the later date. Any manual edits you made to the draft are lost.

Schedule at: pick an exact date and time#

Choose Schedule at… to set a specific send date. Use this when you know exactly when the follow-up should go out, for example the day after a showing, or the Monday after a long weekend.

Skip: throw away this draft and start over#

Choose Skip draft (reschedule) to discard this touchpoint entirely. dreamif.ai writes a fresh one later.

Use skip when the draft itself is the problem, not just the timing. Maybe it references a property the contact already rejected, or the tone is off. Skipping tells dreamif.ai to try again from scratch.

Draft now: write it early#

On the Scheduled tab, click Draft now to have dreamif.ai write the draft immediately instead of waiting for its scheduled time. You'll see "Draft generation started," then "Draft ready to review" once it lands in Draft Ready (or "Draft generation failed" if it didn't work and you need to retry).

Bulk actions#

Select multiple touchpoints with the checkboxes, then use the bulk menu. You can delay or skip a batch at once, useful when you come back from a break and want to spread out a backlog of drafts. On the Draft Ready tab, the bulk menu also has Approve, which reviews and sends every selected draft in one action.
