Customize Nurture Style And Timing
Two free-text fields on the Nurture tab shape how follow-up emails read and how dreamif.ai reads timing you mention in your own mail.
The two fields#
Both live at Settings > AI preferences > Nurture, on the page headed "Nurture Settings".
Nurture email style sits in the Writing panel and controls tone and approach. For example:
"Keep follow-ups warm and personal. Reference our last conversation when possible. Do not sound like a mass email."
Follow-up timing preferences sits in the Cadence panel and guides how dreamif.ai reads timing you mention in emails and notes. For example:
"When I say I'll follow up, prefer 7 to 10 days. Avoid more than one follow-up per month unless they ask."
Steps#
- Go to Settings > AI preferences > Nurture.
- In the Writing panel, set your nurture email style.
- In the Cadence panel, set your follow-up timing preferences.
- Click Save Settings.
This is guidance, not the schedule#
These two fields tell dreamif.ai what to aim for. The schedule itself comes from separate controls in the same tab:
- Default follow-up timing, set to either Recommended or Custom timing, decides the gap between touchpoints. See Recommended vs custom follow-up timing.
- Delivery window decides the hours a follow-up may go out.
- The Targeting panel decides who is in scope at all. See Configure nurture settings.
If a follow-up went out at a time you did not expect, the answer is in those controls rather than in your timing text.
