Set your default location

Tell dreamif.ai where you work so drafts, time zones, and nurture listing suggestions use the right local context.

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > AI preferences, then open the General tab.
  2. Find Default location ("Used for local context and time zones.").
  3. Start typing a city and choose it from the list.
  4. Click Save General Settings.

Where this is prefilled from#

dreamif.ai prefills your location from your IP address the first time you sign up. If that guess was wrong, or you've since moved, update it here.

What this affects#

  • Drafts: dreamif.ai references your city and local market in emails it writes.
  • Time zones: your location informs time zone handling alongside your calendar timezone.
  • Nurture listings: nurture drafts can include listing suggestions, but only once a location is set. If it's empty, the Nurture page shows a banner: "To include listings in nurture drafts, set your location."

It does not change Calendar, Drive, or contact behavior. Those are separate settings.

When to update it#

  • You moved to a new market.
  • You started working in a different city.
  • Drafts keep mentioning the wrong area, or nurture listings are missing.
