Customize Drafting Style And Behavior

Tell dreamif.ai how you want your emails to sound — casual or formal, short or detailed, direct or warm.

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > AI Preferences.

  2. Find the Drafting Style & Behavior field.

  3. Describe your preferred style in plain English. For example:

    "Keep replies short and friendly. Use first names. Do not use exclamation marks. Match the formality of the sender — if they write casually, reply casually."

  4. Click Save Settings.

What you can shape#

  • Tone — professional, warm, casual, direct.
  • Length — brief one-liners vs. detailed responses.
  • Formality — first names vs. "Mr./Ms.", contractions vs. formal language.
  • Style habits — things you always or never do (e.g., "always sign off with 'Best'").

What drafting style does not override#

dreamif.ai follows your style instructions within its safety boundaries. It will not send harmful content, bypass permissions, or ignore send confirmations regardless of your style instructions.
