Understand AI Preferences Settings
AI Preferences is where you tell dreamif.ai how you want it to write. Each field is a text box where you describe your preferences in plain English.
How it works#
Most fields are plain-English text boxes. Write what you want in your own words. dreamif.ai combines your instructions with its built-in rules when drafting emails, follow-ups, and tool actions.
These preferences shape dreamif.ai's writing. They do not override safety features, permissions, or send confirmations.
The tabs#
AI Preferences is split into tabs.
Replies#
Controls reply drafting defaults.
- Reply Criteria: which emails should get a reply draft.
- Drafting Style: tone, formality, and structure for email drafts.
- Reply behavior controls: how selective dreamif.ai is, and how it cleans up older drafts.
Nurture#
Controls automated nurture behavior, including:
- Targeting: who nurture should target and how much activity is required first.
- Cadence: default follow-up timing, timing preferences, and send windows.
- Writing: nurture email style guidance.
Property#
Controls buyer and seller automation used by nurture and property suggestions. This is where you tune detection, autofill, and listing or comps behavior.
Research & Tools#
Controls the default behavior and instructions for tools like Calendar, Drive, and web research. If you enable a nurture-specific override, you can set different tool defaults for nurture than for replies.
Field limits#
Reply Criteria and Drafting Style are limited to 4000 characters each. If you go over the limit, you will see:
Reply criteria too long (max 4000 characters)Drafting style too long (max 4000 characters)
Start over if it gets messy#
