Understand Nurturing Status In People
The Nurturing column in the People table is a simple badge or dash. For the full picture, paused, disabled, or off, use the Nurturing Status filter or the contact detail sheet.
Reading the dash#
A dash means the contact isn't actively nurturing right now, for one of three reasons:
- Paused: follow-ups stop for now. This is the right choice when you want dreamif.ai to resume later without losing context.
- Disabled: nurture is turned off for this contact. Use this when the person is no longer a fit. Scheduled touchpoints are removed.
- Off: no touchpoint is scheduled yet. Common reasons: the contact is below the minimum interaction threshold, the contact is waiting for the next interaction, or nurture is disabled in settings.
Finding out which one it is#
Two ways to tell the three apart:
- Filter the list. Open the filter panel and use Nurturing Status to show only Nurturing, Paused, Off, or Disabled contacts. See Search and filter contacts.
- Open the contact. Click the contact to open their detail sheet, switch to the Nurture tab, and read the status dropdown. It shows the current status plus a subtitle explaining why, such as "Below the minimum interaction threshold" or "Waiting for the next interaction."
To change the status, use that same dropdown on the Nurture tab. If a contact is below your minimum interaction threshold, lower that threshold in Settings > AI preferences > Nurture.
