What Voice Confirmations Protect Against
Voice confirmations prevent accidental sends, wrong calendar events, and unintended changes. They cannot be turned off.
What confirmations prevent#
- Sending the wrong email. A misheard contact name or an "ok" that dreamif.ai interpreted as "send it" could put the wrong message in someone's inbox.
- Creating the wrong calendar event. Booking a showing at the wrong time or wrong address is hard to undo after attendees are notified.
- Saving an incorrect note. A garbled voice-to-text note attached to the wrong contact creates confusion.
Why they cannot be turned off#
Even if your AI Preferences say "just do it" or "skip confirmations," dreamif.ai still asks before high-stakes actions. This is a safety boundary, not a preference. See What AI preferences can and cannot change.

How voice confirmations work
Anything that changes your Gmail, calendar, contacts, or settings is staged first. Say "confirm" to let it through, or press Send in the draft panel. There's no pop-up dialog to click.

Anything that writes gets staged and waits for you to say "confirm": sends, draft rewrites, calendar changes, notes, labels, nurture, and settings. Reading and searching happen immediately.
