What Happens To Your Data When You Disconnect Google?
Disconnecting Google stops dreamif.ai from accessing your Google account going forward and clears your Drive folder and Calendar selections, but it does not delete your dreamif.ai account. Account deletion is a separate, self-service action.
What disconnect does#
Disconnecting Google:
- stops dreamif.ai from reading new emails, syncing contacts, creating or updating calendar events, or accessing Drive files
- clears your saved Drive folder selection
- resets your Calendar selection back to default
Reconnecting later does not restore the Drive folder list or Calendar selection; you set them again.
What disconnect does not do#
Disconnecting Google does not:
- delete your dreamif.ai account
- remove data already saved in your account (contacts, notes, drafts, and so on)
Why this distinction matters#
Disconnect and delete are different actions. Disconnect removes ongoing Google access and resets Google-tied settings, but your dreamif.ai account and its data stay in place. If you want your account and data removed entirely, delete your account instead.
If you want your dreamif.ai account deleted#
Account deletion is self-service. Open the avatar menu, go to Security, and use Danger zone > Delete account. Confirm the dialog "Delete your account?" by typing your account email, then click Delete forever. Deletion happens immediately: it cancels your Stripe subscription, revokes Google access, and deletes your data. See Delete your dreamif.ai account.
