Customize Voice Assistant Behavior

Tell dreamif.ai how to talk to you in voice mode — shorter or longer responses, more or less detail, casual or professional.

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > AI Preferences.

  2. Find the Voice Assistant Instructions field.

  3. Write your guidance in plain English. For example:

    "Keep voice responses short and to the point. Do not repeat back what I said unless I ask. When reading drafts, summarize instead of reading word for word."

  4. Click Save Settings.

What you can shape#

  • Verbosity — brief answers vs. detailed explanations.
  • Tone — casual, professional, or somewhere in between.
  • Behavior — how it handles ambiguity, how much it confirms before acting.

What voice instructions do not override#

Voice confirmation requirements stay in place regardless of your instructions. If sending an email requires confirmation, dreamif.ai still asks — even if your instructions say "just do it."
