Connect Google Drive

Connect Google Drive so dreamif.ai can search your documents, attach files to email drafts, and use document context when writing.

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and open the Drive tab.
  2. If Drive is not connected, click Connect Google Drive.
  3. Grant Google Drive access when your browser asks.
  4. Return to dreamif.ai.

If Drive access is missing, connect Google Drive again from the Drive tab and grant access.

Connecting is just the first step#

After Drive is connected, you need to choose how much dreamif.ai can search:

  • Folders only (recommended): dreamif.ai only searches folders you explicitly add. Best if you want tight control over what it can see.
  • Entire Drive (power users): dreamif.ai searches everything. Best if your files are spread across many folders.

Until you make this choice and save, Drive shows as "connected but not set up." See Choose selected folders vs full Drive.

What Drive enables#

With Drive connected and set up:

  • You can search Drive by voice. Example: "Find the listing agreement in Drive."
  • You can attach Drive files to email drafts by voice.
  • dreamif.ai can reference document content when writing emails.
