Include My Drive Root In Search

If you have files sitting in the top level of My Drive (not inside any folder), turn on 'Include top-level Drive files' so dreamif.ai can find them.

When you need this#

You use Folders only mode and have selected specific folders, but some files are loose in the root of My Drive (the top level, not inside a subfolder). Without this toggle, dreamif.ai skips those files.

Steps#

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations, then open the Drive tab.
  2. Make sure you are in Folders only mode.
  3. Turn on Include top-level Drive files.
  4. Click Save Settings.

This is not the same as Entire Drive#

Including My Drive root adds loose top-level files to your search, but dreamif.ai still only searches the folders you explicitly selected plus the root. It does not open up all of Drive.

If you want dreamif.ai to search everything, switch to Entire Drive mode instead.
